Fatboy Slim

A creative collaboration

Chemical X and Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim first met in 2015 and became firm friends. Norman’s love of art has meant that he is not only a collector of Chemical X’s work but also a collaborator.

They have worked on a variety of projects, most importantly the digital artwork, So Why Try Harder where Chemical X interpreted a brand new musical piece composed specifically for the artwork by Fatboy Slim.

Since then Chemical X has designed record covers, posters and limited edition prints alongside having his work included in Fatboy Slim’s show visuals for several years.

Chemical X had the honour of having him play at his CXLA show in West Hollywood in 2019. The man is a legend.

Fatboy Slim has been a phenomenally successful musician, producer and DJ for the last 30 years. He has headlined pretty much every major festival worth attending and continues to be a massive draw on any DJ line-up around the world.
