Event Horizon

Event Horizon is a quadriptych consisting of four stages of a journey into ecstasy. Named after the edge of a black hole from which the gravitational pull is so great the even light cannot escape its power.

The moment a pill is swallowed, there is no going back. Pupils dilate as the effects kick in and one is on an inevitable path to pleasure. The work reflects the synchronicity of the enormity of structures in space and the simple yet extraordinary wonder of the human eye – the windows to the soul.

Background:

Event Horizon is a set and cannot be sold separately. A smaller version, Cosmic Event Horizon in which all four eyes are contained within the same singular piece is also available.

Pills are made from microcellulose, magnesium stearate and other materials. Embossed with Mitsubishis, Rolexes, smilies, doves, clubs and stars.

Glazed in museum grade UV resistant glass.
